Come for the food, forget about the ambience.

I had high hopes as the place was highly rated. Food did not disappoint. The shop had very loud music though which made any conversation impossible. We were initially seated in the middle of the dining space but decided to move to the corner for some privacy as the place was quite crowded. Unfortunately the table was right under the speakers and surprisingly the music got louder! When I asked the staff to tone the music down, I was told, "if you have a problem with the music, you're free to move

We were initially seated in the middle of the dining space but decided to move to the corner for some privacy as the place was quite crowded. Unfortunately the table was right under the speakers and surprisingly the music got louder! When I asked the staff to tone the music down, I was told, "if you have a problem with the music, you're free to move to another table. Our boss is very particular about his music." It seems like the reason for the excessively loud music is so you'll be forced to end your meal sooner rather than later. If you work/stay nearby, perhaps it's better to order takeaways.
