台中美食大判燒,古早味加上創意口味,被IG上的芋頭鹹蛋黃口味吸引,準備要離開台中要坐高鐵南下時特地來買。店有兩家,一家在台中車站附近,我去的是在金典酒店旁,廣三sogo斜對面,剛開店的時候我就到了,所以沒有等太久。
Famous Imagawayaki in Taichung, with both authentic and creative fillings. Visited here after seeing the picture of their taro with salty egg yolk flavor. There are 2 shops, one is near Taichung station, another one is next to Splendor Hotel Taichung. I went there right after they opened, so I didn’t wait for too long.

 

 


看很多人都選擇”買八送一”,我沒辦法吃那麼多,買了三款口味。他們不會幫客人切,但能向他們拿刀跟切板。
I saw many people chose “buy 8 get 1 free”, I couldn’t eat 9 at once, I bought 3. The staffs don’t help customers to cut the wheel cake, buy you can ask them to give you chop board and knife.

 

 


菜脯 Taiwanese pickles 20NT
屬古早口味的菜脯,味道較清淡,沒有我想像中的鹹,跟大判燒鹹甜鹹甜,不是我吃過最好的菜脯大判燒,但亦不錯。
Authentic Taiwanese flavor, milder than I expected, savory fillings with sweet surface, not the best pickles flavor but still not bad.

 


泡菜起司 Kimchi and cheese 25NT
他們的泡菜好吃,不太鹹,帶一點酸跟甜,配合起司,吃起來也不會覺得辣。
Their kimchi with cheese is tasty, not too salty with adequate sourness and sweetness, it’s not spicy too.

 


鹹蛋黃芋頭 Taro with salty egg yolk 35NT
芋頭綿密細緻富芋香,配鹹蛋黃一起鹹甜討喜,雖說是創意口味但卻有古早的芋泥酥香氣,好吃!
Dense and smooth taro paste, with pleasant taro fragrance and salty egg yolk. It’s their creative fillings but this combination has the flavor of authentic taro puff pastry, delicious.

萬華區捷運龍山寺站的原西園橋下燒餅油條,好吃傳統早餐,油條、燒餅跟豆漿每天新鮮熱製,每天都有不少人前往購買外帶。上次住在凱達大飯店,這家店就在飯店附近,油條跟豆漿很讚呢!

Authentic Taiwanese breakfast at Taipei Wanhua District MRT Longshan Temple Station. Freshly made fried dough sticks, clay oven rolls and soy milk every day. A lot of local people come here for buying takeaway breakfast. Last time I stay at Caesar Metro Hotel, Xiyuan bridge breakfast is nearby. I love their fried dough sticks and savory soy milk!

 


鹹豆漿 (小) Savory soy milk (small) 18NT
滑順溫潤的鹹豆漿,加入油條跟蔥花,醋酸味亦不會太超過。可加辣油,我請阿姨加了一點提味。
Nice and smooth savory milk, with fried dough sticks and scallions, acidic taste from white vinegar is not too much. You can add spicy oil if you like to have a spicy soy milk.

 


飯糰 Sticky rice ball 27NT
裡面的油條是主角,很脆又不會油,配料沒有很多,除了油條還有肉鬆,飯粒比較有嚼感,主要是油條讓這飯糰變好吃。
Crispy and flaky fried dough stick, not oily at all. This rice ball only have fried dough stick and pork floss. Sticky rice is chewy, this rice ball is tasty mainly because of the fried dough stick inside.

 

 


燒餅油條夾蛋 Clay oven sesame roll with fried dough stick and eggs 30NT
這裡的燒餅真的不輸阜杭,酥脆可口,油條亦是亮點,香脆不膩,加上夾蛋的蛋香,配著豆漿,完美的台灣早餐。
The clay oven roll is perfectly made, the quality is as good as those at Fu Hang Soy Milk! With crispy fried dough stick and flavorful fried egg and also a bowl of savory soy milk, for me this is my perfect Taiwanese breakfast.

台南IG打卡甜點店Mack a Wish,小富士跟抹茶捲特別受歡迎。從網購起家,之後在台南開設實體店面。每天做的甜點未必相同,在他們的fb可看到他們的當日甜點。

 

Mack a Wish is a dessert shop with photogenic desserts, “Little Mt.Fuji” and “matcha roll” are their signature ones. They started their business by online shop, and opened a real dessert place in Tainan. They make different desserts everyday, so make sure you check their Facebook for their daily dessert menu.

 


焙茶 Hojicha 150NT

 

焙茶拿鐵 Hojicha latte 150NT

這裡的焙茶非常香,不論熱喝或做成拿鐵都有一股香郁的焙茶獨特香氣。

 


煎茶檸檬 Iced with lemon 150NT

想喝點酸的飲料可點煎茶檸檬,煎茶香比較淡,檸檬香比較突出。

 


抹茶捲 Matcha Roll 150NT
捲內有一塊抹茶奶凍、紅豆跟鮮奶油,抹茶甘味突出,欣賞份量恰到好處的紅豆,不會蓋過抹茶的味道,外層的抹茶海綿蛋糕綿密,配著抹茶奶凍、紅豆跟鮮奶油,香甜可口。

 


櫻花生乳酪 Sakura Cheese Cake 200NT
漂亮的櫻花生乳酪,最上層的果凍裡有醃漬八重櫻,下面是海綿蛋糕跟櫻花口味的奶油乳酪夾層而成。醃漬八重櫻偏鹹,乳酪質感算輕,吃起來不覺得膩,是一款甜中帶鹹的生乳酪蛋糕。

 


巧克力小富士 Chocolate Little Mt.Fuji 250NT
這甜點是甜點設計師在日本旅遊後的記憶,小富士口味不是常常一樣的,除了巧克力,亦見抹茶跟櫻花口味的小富士。外層是硬且脆的巧克力脆皮,裡面是鬆軟濃郁的巧克力海綿蛋糕跟愛文芒果,巧思製作的小富士。要吃的話最好先打預約。

 


贈送的鬆餅鮮奶油跟開心果義式冰淇淋、芒果雪酪,雖是贈送的但亦做得一絲不苟。到台南可來Mack a Wish吃個甜點。
Waffle with fresh cream, pistachio gelato and mango gelato. These are free desserts but they’re still well made and delicious. The desserts here are delicate and tasty, when visiting Tainan, you can come here for good desserts.

高雄人氣日式炸牛排店逸之牛,開業到現在一直人潮不斷,聽說假日的時候開店前半小時就有人排隊了。店就在美麗島站老江紅茶的斜對面,出發去墾丁前在高雄,特地來吃炸牛排,過了用餐時間,下午一點多到訪,前面還有一組客人等位子。
IS beef Kaohsiung is a popular restaurant in town recently, famous for their beef cutlet. During weekends people start queuing up before IS beef opens. I was in Kaohsiung before going to Kenting last 2 weeks, came here for the famous beef cutlet. Located opposite to Lao Jiang Black tea at Formosa Boulevard MRT station. We arrived there around 1pm, and there was another group of customers still waiting for their table.

 

 


月見山藥泥 Chinese Yam with raw egg yolk 70NT 胡麻蔬菜 Sesame broccoli 60NT 月見鮪魚 Tuna with raw egg yolk90NT
點了三個小菜,食材新鮮,特別喜歡月見山藥泥,把牛肉沾進山藥泥為牛肉增加黏滑質感。

 

 

 


炸霜降牛排定食 Beef Cutlet Set (超值重磅 538NT)
一般份量是358NT,這裡是一般份量的兩倍,定食還有來自花東米倉的關山米、菜絲跟湯。菜絲跟飯是可以無限添加的,關山米Q軟有米香,我們添了菜跟飯來配牛肉吃。

 


牛肉炸至三分熟,吃時可放在熱的鐵盤上再煎熱及煎到自己喜歡的熟度。炸層酥脆,肉味也濃,難怪會受歡迎呢!個人是偏愛生一點的牛肉,所以我沒有煎太久就吃了。

 

灸煎牛排丼 pan fried steak bowl rice 318NT
可能是炸牛排太出色,相比之下灸煎沒有炸牛排的好吃,還有菜絲放在牛肉跟飯中間會比菜絲悶軟。牛肉其實也軟嫩好吃,旁邊的醬汁拌白飯味道亦好,但我會推薦炸牛排定食多一點。

炸牛排比灸煎牛排好吃,定食亦比丼飯好。他們的二店會在17年11月開,食客們可有多一個地點選擇去吃。
I like their beef cutlet, crunchy and tasty. Beef cutlet is better than pan fried steak, set meal is better than their rice bowl. Their second store will be opened in Fall 2017 and this will offer gastronomes another spot to IS beef.

台北 東門彈子房ICE 舊址新冰店 叭噗冰淇淋 Dongmen Ice Taipei

 

在東門市場的東門彈子房ICE,每天現做舊式冰淇淋,除了本地食材做的冰品,還有使用異國材料的叭噗冰。店面就在以前的東門彈子房,彈子房是以前撞球店。口味每天不同,視乎當天供應口味為準。
Dongmen Ice is a Taiwanese old style ice-cream shop, located at Dongmen Market, the place was a snooker shop many years ago. Different flavors everyday. We had dragonfruit (pitaya), mung beans and peanuts, the fragrance are flavorful yet natural.

 


我跟朋友選了三球,最上層是火龍果,口味較清爽,沒有添加太多糖我甚至覺得他們沒有加糖,怕吃太甜的我覺得恰好,質感也比較像雪酪。

 

底下是綠豆跟花生口味,綠豆帶著一顆顆的豆子,更添綠豆味。花生是他們的招牌,香氣濃郁,不過甜而綿密的冰品,值得一試。
