Being a dumpling lover spending your meals in Taiwan can be full of surprises and mostly satisfy your crave.

Recommended by my local friend, we tried this cute dumpling store locating in the centre of city at the basement of a small mall.

We ordered their signature pan seared dumplings, steamed meat dumplings, beef scallion rolls and we went out picking their soy curd cold appetiser.

Pan seared dumplings had a crispy bottom. Very thin wrapping stuffed with juicy meat. Every bite was an explosion of meat juice and crispiness. It was divine.

Steamed meat dumplings were again not going to disappoint you. The wrapping seems thick but actually not. It just held the meat right inside the dumpling, holding the meat juice. Some chives were also mixed with the meat stuffing which brought a hint of freshness. It was again very good job.

Beef scallion roll was pretty unique. Tender thin beef slice rolled inside a pan fried scallion pancake and in the centre of the scallion, there's a big chunk of raw scallion inside. Pancake gave a chewy texture plus some crispiness of the edge. Combing with the savoury beef slice, it was perfect. Raw scallion gave a good crunch and earthiness (I know some may hate eating raw scallion that found it too pungent), it was perfect for me. Whole roll gave a complex flavour and texture that it was again a thumb up.

Last but not least, the tofu cold dish was a very good side to gave your meaty dish some tanginess and savouriness. Despite mixed with chopped coriander, which I dislike; tofu was full of soy flavour while absorbed all the secret sauce. Tiny tanginess with some saltiness.

All in all, highly recommend and good location! Very very good job.
