第一次吃台灣菜早餐,到步前,怕全是粥和羅匐類。香港人早點自助餐以西式為主,粵式點心為副。此店平衡了台式,西式。西式炒蛋,煙燻肉都煎得好,不乾,不肥。台式的不敢批評,只會欣賞。有咸豆漿,湯麪等,調味有烏醋等。驚喜的是有鴨賞,是宜蘭特產。鴨肉鮮甜,不肥膩。可買回香港,但先保持冷藏。特別欣賞中西合璧早點,是把燻雞切絲,加上洋蔥絲和蜜糖,放在西式煎餅上。樓下有雲出溫泉,可穿泳衣享受宜蘭溫泉。晚餐可吃更有名的櫻桃鴨。
