往蘇澳的路上有一間從五結搬過來的番割田甕缸雞,應是近年搬遷時考慮到生意好,便把場地規劃得很大,環境是不錯的,由於座位多,所以晚上過來時不需等待就入座了。 這邊要先到櫃檯點菜,除了烤雞,看中的是擺在櫃檯旁邊的各式蔬菜(樣品),樣貌青翠健康茁壯,點了炒珠蔥和溫泉空心菜,使用到烤雞的油,沒有其他配料與過多調味,蠻脆嫩且口味單純的炒菜。雞油拌飯一碗25元,不是免費的唷~烤雞上桌相當燙手,讓我聯想到礁溪火山爆發雞那次沒溫度的烤雞,唉~內心的小火山都快爆發了。番割田烤雞最有印象的是那十分薄脆的皮,咬起來咔咔脆響而非偏硬的,放山雞的肉質烤得不乾不澀,盤子還擺了香甜的洋蔥作為配菜,不過單就肉的味道,我們還是比較喜歡礁溪的大灶雞。
