冬天打邊爐(吃火鍋)是常識吧!幾年前吃過韓式經典部隊鍋,一吃難忘,其實部隊鍋的料非常簡單,很平民,至於純素版本就選用了大量不同種類的菇菌(超喜歡),這個邊爐(火鍋)讓我真的很懷念昔日和朋友的聚會!

「懷特廚房」提供純素、蛋素、奶素,餐牌都標示的很清楚,除了純素部隊鍋外,他們的炸物也是非常出色,鹽酥雞炸的酥酥脆脆的,不說真的分不出來是素食呢!還有店內的環境舒適寬大,聚餐真的很不錯喔~

It is common sense to have hot pot in winter! I have eaten the Korean classic Budae-jjigae hot pot a few years ago, miss it soooo much. In fact, the ingredients of the Budae-jjigae is very simple and local. As for the vegan version, a lot of different kinds of mushroom are used (mushrooms are my favorite). This hot pot makes me really miss the good old time with my friends!

"White Kitchen" offers vegan, vegetarian cuisine which are clearly marked in the menu. Besides the vegan Budae-jjigae hot pot, their fried food is also very good. The Fried Chicken is very crispy that you can't even distinguish if it's meat or not! The environment is quite cozy and spacious, good for gathering~

//全世界每年有13億公噸食物在整個食品供應鏈中被丟棄或浪費,這些食物足夠解決30億人的飢餓問題//

這次到訪台中,經  Freegan達人宗翰的介紹下,來到了這家 ,管理員們每天中午到附近的菜市場收集剩下來不要的菜,拿回店裡,部份免費轉贈居民,部份留到晚上做晚餐給客人。我檢查過大部份的菜,幾乎都是完好無缺的,只是長得比較醜而已,吃起來完全沒有問題耶~

//1.3 billion metric tons of food is discarded or wasted throughout the food supply chain worldwide. These foods are enough to solve the hunger problem of 3 billion people.//

During my visit to Taichung this time, I went to this leftover kitchen, the staffs collected the remaining foods in a wet market at noon every day, and took them back to the store. Some of them are free of charge to residents, and some are reserved for dinner at night. I have checked most of the foods, almost all of them are eatable, they are just more "ugly" compare to other foods, but they are actually have no problem at all.

在「將進酒-素 燒烤殿」的這一晚,讓我徹底地回到了食「肉」獸的年代!餐廳外觀很日式,還有個小庭院,進去後,立馬看到熟悉的烤爐,已經掩藏不住我的興奮感了。前菜和湯品都做得很精緻,喜歡天馬腰果湯,聽說可以促進血液循環喔!
好,我們先烤日本蛋茄、山藥和櫛瓜,超級大片,山藥烤起來很像薯片,好吃!你以為素烤「肉」就這樣嗎?🤣 最厲害的來了 ─ 階梯特色烤物!這個階級一出,我們所有人都歡呼起來了,實在是太令人興奮 😍
食材超級多元化:球芽甘籃、酥脆雞皮、客家小炒、雞腿卷、新彊羊肉串、三杯雞腿菇、素花支、麻糬等等... 最喜歡非酥脆雞皮莫屬,它們的時令蔬菜非常新鮮,建議大家把「肉」和菜都烤一烤,加上美生菜,用潤餅皮包在一起大口吃!你會覺得非常滿足和開心,相信我!
我們還意外發現「如何烤出最好吃的麻糬」呢! 大家記得烤麻糬時要專心和有耐性,看著麻糬慢慢脹大,最後還爆開,真的非常療癒耶 😚
PS 我們四個人點三人套餐 (NT1980) 也非常夠吃呢,套餐還包沙拉、飲料和甜點喔,我選了Häagen Dazs的純素芒果雪糕 🍨

"Vegetarian BBQ" looks very Japanese and has a small courtyard outside. After entering, I immediately saw the familiar oven, which I can't hide my excitement. The appetizers and soups are very delicate, I like Tianma cashew soup, I heard that it can increase blood circulation!
Ok, let's first grill some veggies from Japan, they are super big, the grilled yam is very similar to potato chips, delicious! The best thing is coming - the ladder! When this ladder comes out, all of us are cheering up, it is really exciting 😍
Super diversified ingredients: sprouts, crispy chicken skin, Hakka stir fry, chicken leg roll, chicken leg mushroom, etc... I like the crispy chicken skin the most, their vegetables are very fresh too. It is recommended that you grill the "meat" and the veggies, add the lettuce and wrap them together! You will feel very satisfied and happy, trust me!
We also accidentally discovered "how to bake the best mochi"! Please remember to be attentive and patient whengrilling mochi, watching the mochi grow and break, it's very healing 😚
