Golden Emperor Wedding Banquet Restaurant features live geese. General Manager owns 35 years of chef experience and the industry addresses him as “Master Jun.” He entered the industry as catering master since 15 years old. At 20 years old, he founded the food processing factory to produce crunchy oily chicken. At the age of 30 years old, he founded the “King of Goose Snack” that combines seafood and Taiwanese cooking at the triangular window of Zhongzheng Road. The snack shop was quite famous due to the materials used and authenticity of flavor. In 2004, he expanded the business and moved to current address. He not only maintains the original seafood, Taiwanese and goose cuisine but also set up the wedding banquet hall. The spacious venue and luxury and magnificent interior design makes the restaurant the top choice for newlyweds to hold wedding ceremony in Sanxia District.


Selected ranch goose and juicy and fatty large castrated chicken meet the different requirement of texture.

Teriyaki tofu pan fries the egg tofu until golden brown and then drizzle with special tomato sauce that is highly aromatic.


Golden Emperor has been running for more than 20 years since the management of King of Goose. The reason for the restaurant to stay is the control of know-how of the geese, including 1. Select 3KG-4.2KG of goose with even distribution of fat, sufficient exercise and ranch raising. 2. The geese are slaughtered and prepared daily without using frozen geese. 3. The perfect goose cooking assure the geese is cooked and the meat is tender. Moreover, the restaurant shows no slack on the selection of ingredients. For example, only local fresh products are selected with meat and fruit/vegetable that come with production resume. Moreover the team is managed through high-stand autonomy, adopting semi-open kitchen to present the kitchen facilities and chefs working conditions confidently through window glass to customers. All these are intended to build a foundation for sophisticated cuisine and dining environment, which shows the dedication of Wen-Jun Wang.

Ancient chicken roll wraps bean curd skin with fish pate and water chestnuts for deep fry to create juicy and crunchy texture.

Seasonal cold bamboo shoot uses Sanxia Green Bamboo Shoot for the tender, juicy and sweet taste.

【賞味老舖】 “Chicken roll” used to be called “Shi Ma roll,” as it is originated from Shi Na of Fujian province of China. It was spread to Taiwan as a street food. In Taiwanese language, “Chicken” sounds like “more”, indicating “roll of leftovers.” In early times, it is made in poor farmers’ family, where leftovers were wrapped with tofu skin and fried. The stuff was changed to pork and vegetable later on.
