萊特冰淇淋的彩色粉粿冰跟湯圓騷冷冰一直都在上看到,也是在我口袋名單中一段時間了。之前工作過後在這附近,吃了夏天才有的粉粿冰。店子還有無添加的冰淇淋跟冰品,冬天也有熱甜湯。
Right Ice Cream is a dessert place selling authentic Taiwanese shaved ice and ice cream. This time I came here for their Tapioca dessert shaved ice.

 

 


綜合粉粿冰 Tapioca dessert shaved ice (65NT)
用上多款天然食材去做這些粉粿的,黃色的是山梔子,紅色是紅麴,灰色是竹炭,最近他們還有藍色的蝶豆花粉粿,比我想像中軟。下面的冰加了黑糖,旁邊也有自己煮的紅豆,整個冰的甜度不高,比較健康,而且味道亦是天然的好吃,值得一試。
Yellow ones are made from Cape Jasmine, red ones are red yeast rice and the grey ones are edible charcoal. Recently they have blue ones from butterfly peas. Soft and chewy, with brown sugar shaved ice and housemate red bean paste, quite enjoyed this dessert.

台中早午餐另一推介,名字很長A La Maison Sweet and Salt and fashion lab,除每週一、二,每天供應幾道鹹食、三明治跟甜點。
A good place for brunch in Taichung, the name is a bit long – A La Maison Sweet and Salt and fashion lab, serves savoury and sweet dishes except every Monday and Tuesday.

 

 

 

 


位於向上路的巷弄裡,寧靜的環境,店子以黑色做主調,前面有一個小花園。有些桌子是以衣車改造的,店內亦有些衣服可購買。有跟老闆娘聊過天,她不是法國人,她是瑞士人,在當地的法語地區出生長大。因為喜歡台中,就到台中開店。
It’s located at a cozy environment at Xiangshang Road. It has a small garden in the front of the bistro, besides food, it has some clothes for customers to buy. The owner is a Swiss, born and grown in Swistzerland French-speaking region. She likes Taichung, so she started to run a bistro.

 

 


庫斯庫斯 couscous 250NT
以蔬菜和牛肉煮成的濃湯加入北非小米,再加上雞肉,味道及質感都非常豐富。
Tasty couscous made with veggies and beef soup, on top with chicken.

 


海鮮飯沙拉 seafood rice salad 250NT
這個飯沙拉是冷的,夏天很適合吃,以多款海鮮加上酪梨、番茄拌飯,拌有加入醋及黑胡椒,蠻開胃的而且味道清爽。
This rice salad is cold, good to eat in hot summer. Different kinds of seafood mixed with avocado and tomato, vinegar and black pepper seasonings.

 

 



莓果塔、芒果塔 Raspberry Tart / Mango Tart 
好看又好吃的兩款甜點,尤其喜愛芒果塔的漂亮玫瑰形狀。中間的餡是加入檸檬汁的卡士達,不膩可口。
I like the “mango rose” of the mango tart. Inside the tarts are lemon custard, quite refreshing to have one after meal.

在通化夜市旁的老鴨湯,是隱藏在通化街巷弄吃鴨的好地方,標明沒有味精,有鴨湯、鴨飯、粉麵跟單點鴨肉。
Old Duck soup is a eatery hidden at Tonghua Street Taipei, it has delicious duck rice, duck soup, noodles and duck slices. No MSG guaranteed.

 

 

 


店子不大,不少食客都是獨自來用餐。外面自己取的菜脯跟小黃瓜不錯吃,可取些來拌飯拌麵吃。
The place is not big, many customers come here alone to eat. The pickles and cucumbers are tasty, can eat with rice or noodles together.

 


老鴨湯底 Duck soup 90NT
奶白色的湯頭,湯底有鴨心、鴨胗、鴨肝、鴨腸跟鴨血。湯頭味道蠻濃郁的,相信也煮了蠻久,每道食材都不錯吃,尤其喜歡鴨肝跟鴨血。
The milky soup base is rich in duck flavor, with duck hearts, kidney, liver, intestines and duck blood. I like its duck liver and duck blood.

 


鴨香飯 Duck rice 70NT
白飯上淋了鴨油,上面有鴨肉跟油蔥,非常香,鴨肉不柴而且還帶湯汁,喜歡吃鴨肉的人一定會喜歡這個鴨香飯。
White rice with duck oil, duck meat and fried shallot, I like the fragrance of the duck rice and juicy duck meat. Do visit here if you like eating duck.

老江紅茶牛奶在高雄已有六十多年歷史,古早味紅茶跟奶茶非常受高雄人歡迎,不是高雄人的我亦非常喜歡老江的紅茶,蛋餅亦很好吃。
Lao Chiang Milk/ Black Tea is a famous brand of Taiwanese black tea, locals and tourists like their tea a lot, including me. Besides tea, their Taiwanese omelet is the another reason why I visit Lao Chiang again and again.

 


我通常去的都是在南台路的總店,美麗島捷運站一號出口。店子不大,早餐時間有不少客人在店外的桌子用餐。店亦有一些舊式蛋糕販售,配他們的紅茶奶茶不錯。
I usually visit their first store at Nantai Road, No.1 exit of Formosa Boulavard Station. The store is not big, outside there’s some tables for customers to have breakfast. They have some nostalgic cakes for customers to eat with their tea too.

 


他們的紅茶的茶香很深也很濃,茶味亦突出,跟外面很多紅茶出色多了,喝起來有回甘的味道,甜度我通常都要少甜,但正常甜我也可以接受。奶茶也好喝,只是我本身不太喜歡喝奶茶,通常都會點紅茶。
Their tea flavor is strong and with more depth comparing with the others black tea in Taiwan, I like their black tea more than milk tea, just because I don’t like having milk with tea. This is my No.1 Taiwanese black tea in Kaohsiung, must visit here when I’m in Kaohsiung every time.

 

 


我蠻常點他們的肉鬆蛋餅,因為肉鬆的量很多,而且他們的蛋餅或吐司都會夾小黃瓜,跟肉鬆蠻搭的。最近到高雄都愛到老江吃早餐,每次吃完都會很滿足地離開。
Taiwanese omelet with pork floss. They add some cucumber slices into their omelettes or their toasts, goes very well with the pork floss. Their omelettes only sells until 12nn everyday.

高雄甜點先生sensei的千層每天很快完售,今年二月初開幕,是冰屋的姊妹店。千層蛋糕做得很不錯,店內每天有四款千層蛋糕,口味會不定期更換,來的時候綜合水果口味已經沒有了。
Kaohsiung Sensei is a dessert place for Mille feuille, the cakes sold out quickly especially during weekends. They have 4 flavours Mille feuille everyday, varies by seasonal fruits. Mixed fruits flavor were sold out when I arrived last time. Mille feuille is moist and tasty, can have a try when you visit Kaohsiung.

 

 


在他們開店後半小時來,店內已經坐滿了人。店內有一幅花牆,可到這邊拍照。
Full house when I arrived at 1:30pm, half hour after they opened. There’s a floral wall inside for taking pictures.

 


莓果奶昔 Berries milkshake 100NT
四款莓果草莓、蔓越莓、覆盆莓、黑醋粟,奶味不算重,喝起來不會覺得膩口。

 


抹茶草莓千層 Matcha strawberry Mille Feuille 150NT
我來的時候還有草莓,夏天不是草莓季,他們會做莓果果醬千層也有芒果千層。千層的皮濕潤可口,抹茶粉的甘味蠻搭鮮奶油的綿密奶香及草莓的清爽果甜。
