老樹咖啡 (大安區)

Old but gold coffee shop in Taipei. Price wasn’t cheap but definitely worth a try if you’re a coffee lover. we ordered the club sandwich and cheese cake to share too. It was delicious and portion was quite generous. We ordered another cup too.

ACME Breakfast CLUB (萬華區)

I found this lovely restaurant online which located in the main busy area of ximendin. Brunch hours be like ... 🍳🥪 a nice place to grab a coffee and meal after walking around the busy area. So we decided to give it a try. Arrived at around 12pm on a weekend, it was filled up with people. my friend ordered the avocado on toast with pouched egg. The portion wasn’t big the the ingredients were fresh. another friend ordered the bacon with scramble egg and toast, on the side was maple 🍁 syrup. I ordered the cheese toastie with friend egg on top. This personally, was our favorite dish. Overall a good area to grab brunch but weekdays will probably be a better option to come over for a visit.

瞞著爹 台北八德壽司吧 (松山區)

I loved their other chain so decided to give this sushi bar a try. It’s the shop where we can select whatever sushi we want. we picked their signature sushi omakase- with nine pieces of sushi 🍣 it was fresh and yummy but not surprisingly tasty. I also ordered the three sets of sashimi which I picked grilled - quite chewy to be honest not much oil ...so just soso. this veggie in sesame sauce was good! But still not a surprise as I can have something similar in hk too. this was the best sushi out of the entire meal; price was ok 👌 and staffs were very attractive!

Miopane 忠孝店 (大安區)

Probably one of the best places for bagel lovers! Ordered caramelized onions with spinach bagel topped with an egg, a salad with eggplant and pesto sauce. It was amazing but just a bit too oily in my option.
Overall, food we’re above standard. Veggie = fresh! Recommend despite a bit pricier than what offers in the surround area.
